1981 The QUASY Group
TURN ON THE LIGHT!
Based on the work of Charles Marinson "The Bunker".
Recorded in 1981 in Chelyabinsk, Russia.
Recording is catastrophic.
(59 minutes. Released on tape)
Rock suite recorded from a microphone to a tape recorder. Two
enameled pots with stretched polyethylene were used as drums, a can of scarce
instant coffee as a cowbell. The bass guitar was a drawing board with the neck
of an old acoustic screwed on with screws and four piano strings. Yes, we also
had faemi, harmonica, clarinet and a real spring reverb. With a spring.

1982 The MIRROR group
FABLE
Rock suite in 6 scenes.
Recorded in 1982 in Chelyabinsk, Russia.
(59 minutes. Rehearsal recording from microphone)
At the institute we had a group called MIRROR (although there was no
official name at all). I remember after the second year, we, two dancers and our
ideological leader Saken Kashibaevich, toured the Chelyabinsk region for several
months. It wasn't boring. But this is not the touring version. We were preparing
a serious concert for a serious seated (not jumping in front of the stage)
institute audience.
